Our Staff
Dr. Nancy Soules graduated from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1988. She also holds Bachelor's Degrees in Psychology and Sociology from New MexicoStateUniversity. Dr. Soules is owner of Jornada Veterinary Clinic, and was selected by the New Mexico Veterinary Medical Association as Veterinarian of the Year for 2001. Dr. Soules enjoys running and skiing in her spare time.
Dr. Sue Miale is a1990 graduate from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine. She attended New MexicoStateUniversity prior to enrollment into veterinary school. Dr. Miale has been a veterinarian at Jornada Veterinary Clinic for the past 14 years, and enjoys all surgical procedures. Dr. Miale has taken special interest in treating and attending to the special needs of avian and exotic pet's. These birds and reptiles require slightly different care than the average dog or cat, and Dr. Miale offers extended visits for these patients
Dr. Frances Bowling graduated from TexasA&MSchool of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She also attended New MexicoStateUniversity prior to attending Texas A&M. Frances was a Registered Veterinary Technician for 13 years before attending VeterinarySchool, and was employed by Jornada Veterinary Clinic. Frances re-joined our practice as a veterinarian in January 2008. In her spare time she enjoys horse back riding, jeep riding and reading.
Heather Prendergast, RVT, CVPM, graduated from St PetersburgCollege in Florida with an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology in 2000. She also holds a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science from New MexicoStateUniversity. Heather has over 20 years experience in the field of Veterinary Medicine, and consults for Nestle Purina Pet Care Company. In 2009, Heather completed the requirements and test to became a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM). Heather commonly teaches courses related to veterinary technology and practice management.
