Dental Procedures

Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth.

All dental procedures require anesthesia. Pre-anesthetic lab work is highly recommended, along with IV fluids while your pet is under anesthesia. We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Each tooth is carefully inspected, observing for any abnormalities, including pockets below the gum surface. Dental radiogrpahs are recommened, allowing us to observe any pathology below the gumline. Dental technicians polish the teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. We advise brushing your pets teeth daily, preventing plaque and tarter buildup.
